Yesterday, the California Supreme Court upheld Proposition 8. The decision was met with disappointment, but not surprise, from gay marriage advocates, who have vowed to fight on.


TransLondon, the largest group in the capital for all trans-identified people, has announced it is boycotting London Pride. The decision comes after trans women were denied access to female toilets at last year's Pride and one was allegedly sexually assaulted.

As the gay community begins to respond to the just announced arrest of a 40 year old man charged with infecting three younger men with HIV and attempting to infect a fourth, the alleged victims who have come forward are being hailed as brave, and the predator's alleged actions are being described as "an uncommon occurrence" which should not reflect negatively on other people with HIV.
The 40 year old Auckland man arrested this afternoon on charges of infecting three men with HIV and a charge of attempted infection is facing up to 14 years in prison on each of the most serious charges and 7 years on the attempted infection charge.
A 40 year-old man is to appear at Auckland District Court tomorrow following a police investigation into the recent HIV predator allegations.
