FOX SHOWS NO FAVORITE: Those who watched pop songstress Katy Perry and rsquo;s performance on American Idol last week were sure to notice who she favored to win the title. Fox has since altered the footage of Perry and rsquo;s performance to not include the close-up on her Adam Lambert-embroidered cape.

Today Washington Governor Christine Gregoire signed into law a bill that expands the domestic partnership statute to encompass nearly all of the rights of marriage under state law.  As she put it, “today we are strengthening Washington by strengthening families.” Already opponents are gathering signatures to take away these important rights and protections from same-sex couples [...]
