International Gay News Headlines (T24T-3)

A junior minister has given a deeply personal interview to a gay publication in which he discusses coming out, his mother's struggle with alcoholism and his humiliation at the hands of a tabloid newspaper.

President-elect Barack Obama said he was in favour of same-sex marriage while he was a candidate for the Illinois State Senate more than a decade ago.

MEPs have adopted the Report on the Situation of Fundamental Rights in the EU. The report contains recommendations on a broad range of issues such as discrimination and gender equality.
