Irreverent comedian Jack Black stars as Jesus in a hysterical new Prop 8 the Musical video released this week from FunnyorDie.com. The video, which also stars Hollywood celebs Neil Patrick Harris, Margaret Cho, John C. Reilly and more, mocks the supporters of the Proposition 8 ban on same-sex marriage, which passed in California during the November election.
The Vatican has come out against a United Nations resolution that calls on all governments to decriminalize homosexuality. The resolution, Archbishop Celestino Migliore said, would 'add new categories of those protected from discrimination' and could lead to the decline of heterosexual marriage. France will propose the resolution this month on behalf of the 27-member European Union. The Vatican is not a member, but it uses the Euro.
Kristen Stewart, the Bella of Twilight's box office ball, is going to play Joan Jett in a biopic about the Runaways while Stewart's fangy co-star, Robert Pattinson, will play Salvador Dalí in Little Ashes, which explores Dalí's relationship with the poet Federico García Lorca.
