In honor of the 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day, which took place on December 1st, we celebrate the heroines and heroes who've stood by our side through thick and thin, including Martin Delaney, Elizabeth Taylor, Kathy Griffin, Nelson Mandela and more.

According to online gossip mongers, baseball star A-Rod may already be cheating on his rumored girlfriend Madonna. Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, who only recently finished a nasty divorce battle with ex-wife Cynthia Rodriguez, reportedly has been spotted making time with model Melissa Britos. One of the model’s friends allegedly said A-Rod became ‘obsessed’ with Britos after meeting her at a party in November.
